Starting first of our sorghum Head assessments at @VnetPrecisionAg Brookstead Deep P/K Fert trial site. Comparing deep application bands of 30” 1tRIPr strip till & 20” Tiger full disturbance. Tiger little quicker to 1st flowers (58DAS) than 1tRIPr & +P treatments quicker again.

@JasonSchley @VnetPrecisionAg This trial; 30” strip till bands at 150mm and 20” full disturb bands at 200mm. Typical pH 0-15cm around 7, 30-60cm mid 8’s, below 60cm high 8’s/low 9’s. Long term zero/strip till site so immobile nutrients becoming deficient at depth. H2O ltd climate = deep extraction @grainfill

Getting few questions on trial details; see layout/detail in pic. Soil is cecilvale grey vertosol, long term zero/striptill site, P responsive in Grains & K in cotton, 3m CTF 16R30” sorghum, 22kgP/ha (MAP+Zn) 50kgK/ha (MOP), 1tRIPr 30” bands 150mm Deep & Tiger 20” 200mm Deep.
