Happy Father's Day to all the dads who are celebrating today, and especially to those carrying a loss that never leaves them.

To the fathers who have lost a child, who live each day with a piece of their heart missing, we see you. Today can be one of the hardest days of the year. While the world celebrates, you may be remembering, reflecting, and longing for the moments that should have been.

To the dads whose children are no longer here, you are still a father. Your love did not end when your child's life did. Their memory lives on in everything you do, and the bond you share can never be broken.

We also think of stepdads, grandads, foster dads, dads-to-be, those longing to become fathers, and all the men who have taken on a fatherly role and made a difference in a child's life.

Today, we honour every version of fatherhood the joyful, the challenging, and the heartbreaking.

For those carrying an empty chair at the table, we are holding you especially close in our thoughts today.

Back at one of my regular sites doing pile volumes and pointcloud comparison. Normally i'd use GCP'S and RTK but it was unreliable
