🚨 Andy Robertson looking back at the feeling of Liverpool feeling invincible:
“Climbing that mountain was the best feeling ever because every day we were just coming in knowing we are just getting better and better and better, and as a team we’re just starting to click.
“I always go back to that time; we’d beat teams in the tunnel. Genuinely, we went into games not with arrogance, not with cockiness, it was just, ‘There’s no way we can get beat today if we perform the way we know we can perform,’ and we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to perform to the highest level.
“The standard of training, the amount of tackles in that — if fans would have probably watched they’d be going, ‘Stop!’ I mean before big games we’re all flying in and that was just the way we did it.
“We went 100 per cent at all times and we never let up from that moment, and that was obviously from the manager, from the coaches, and then all the staff, the backroom staff, and the people behind the scenes just bought into it. Everyone was on the same page and we just made magical things happen, thankfully.”

@SkySportsPL@Carra23 How ignorant do you have to be to think that Salah’s actions are a result of personal ego! He is speaking for the future of Liverpool FC. He saw a season being wasted in Nov, and now another next season. This will be detrimental for the future of our club. @Carra23 so naive.
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
17 seasons supporting this club. In only one season does watching Liverpool feels like an obligation rather than a choice.
109 days since Nov 26th. 16 matches since.
A masterclass in incompetence and negligence.
Congratulations.

When you’re being paid significant amounts of money by a certain entity, you will naturally behave in a way that will not risk you losing that money or opportunity in future.
