@SimonPB and that's just for individuals. the impact for businesses is even greater. it's why so many businesses have to register entities outside of SA just to do business easily with international customers.
@SimonPB Have to disagree it has no impact. So many financial services don’t support SA users due to all the additional compliance requirements. It’s why sending and receiving forex is still expensive. Also over R1million has additional “paper work”, delays and potential costs to apply.

my word the Bank Zero support is terrible. they have no clue what they're doing. guess this isn't going to work and will have to move to Capitec instead. sigh.
starting to think the "Zero" in Bank Zero really just means nothing works. clunky interface and signup process, and pretty much impossible to use the card internationally since it gets declined on every transaction. support doesn't have a clue how to fix.
@BankZeroSA I tried using a new card and it keeps failing with "Card Online Timeout". I get no notifications on my phone/app. I assume something is wrong with my account and not online services?
@Sixty60_Tweets this doesn't make sense. you're sending marketing messages via push notifications. it's marketing regardless of the channel it's sent from. so what exactly is the option for if not for marketing messages?
