@Rob_Kimbell We had this little matter of a national referendum a few years’ back. Only the 2nd in half a century. And in a record turnout our electorate voted to leave the EU. That’s it. The people have spoken.
Stabbed Mrs T in the back, had affair with one of his ministers and presided over more than his share of sleaze. Apart from that he was great. #JohnMajor
@AidanWalshMUFC Lots of crosses - no-one available to connect (no Maguire, Varane, Ronaldo, Cavani….). Took Linguard off who was arguably most threatening player but left Martial on- who was ineffective for most of the game. Sancho hasn’t impressed yet. VdB underwhelming to date.
@RohLDN#Ronaldo is one of the best players to ever kick a ⚽️ and all Utd fans love him to death - but he’s 36.. and ignoring sentiment (if we can) he represents at best a short term boost only.
Brussels demanding £41bn divorce payment, £2bn more than Govt willing to pay. Another sign EU is in deep financial trouble with exit of Uk one of the biggest contributors
@matthewsyed great article on sick #economy in #sundaytimes buying influence is nothing new but it still smells. #cronyism Good case for better rewards for ministers but there’d be uproar
You don’t quite get this democracy idea, do you Kerry? Actually, the idea is that everyone is entitled to their view, equal one and all. And just so you know...Freedom is the right to express that view, without fear or favour.
