The #TwitterOfTime is about to suffer an onslaught of “knowledgeable” reviews, gratuitous shots & no shortage of opinions which are anything but nuanced from Jellyroll Haters & the Clueless alike. Yet
#TheWheelOfTime much to their chagrin, not only WILL stand on its own… (1/2)
@MathewLReyes @nickarkis Legit takes, no matter what one thought of the books.
A TV adaptation doesn’t have to fully track with its source books.
As many haters there are, there are also quite a few apologists, those who will default to the show do no wrong.
This E8 was mixed, like the season itself.
@SauravJora Agreed, on all counts.
As a matter of fact, for a while there back in the day, Toby’s Spiderman 2 was my fav Sup movie of all time.
Amazing was the best kickoff of the group…so much heart.
And #SpidermanNoWayHome was movie perfection…no other way to describe it…

Seeing the #WoT show runners not fundamentally butcher a brilliant book series by changing who the Dragon is in the same episode as I watch them add the Perrin-Egwene subplot worthy of a CW series cutting room floor…
While I absolutely hated this and found it completely unnecessary I think the rest of the episode makes up for it. Let's be real tho, this is literally never gonna pop up again so I'm honestly super cool with pretending it didn't happen.
We just saw #SpiderManNoWayHome and we can peacefully assure you that it is one of Marvel's best works. Every single thing about the movie is exciting, perfectly put together, amazing performances by all involved, breath-taking fight scenes and visuals. A pure masterpiece!
@WAVECULTURE2@CaldazarEagle @_Meraxes__ Both are correct. The gen audience won’t have read the books, nor will they be aware of (or care about) the 👍🏻X-ray content, which are really just icing on cake for us readers. Not only shouldn’t they have to read or X-ray, they wouldn’t anyway. Thus, heavy lift is on the show
@TarenFerry@daleksatemybaby@LeisaSedai@TReese381@smpoetic Agreed with all of this. She had a poker face tell when it was suggested that “she’d be around a long time”.
One of the “doorways” represents one in Ruidean, I expect…where she learns she can come back again (thru the final doorway?), after her fateful day at the port.
