Blonde-haired, blue-eyed white people from Ukraine were celebrated for making home-made Molotov cocktails to defend their land, but the brown Arab Muslim, the Iranian, the Afghan, is far too “uncivilised” to have the right to resist. Their resistance is “barbaric” because it comes from an inherently “violent” culture.

The selective application of international law and one’s right to defend themselves from illegal occupation and colonial violence has been revealed to be a complete contradiction in the west, and is no doubt infuriating.

But we need to also understand how these “resistance” narratives are processed in communities.

These narratives do not stay on our screens. They shape how entire communities see themselves.
When Indigenous, Black, and other racialised peoples repeatedly see their histories, struggles, cultures, and resistance framed as dangerous, irrational, or inherently violent, many begin to internalise those messages.

Some distance themselves from their own identities in search of safety, acceptance, or legitimacy.

Others carry a deep, unspoken rage born from exclusion, dispossession, and the constant demand to prove their humanity.

When people are disconnected from their roots, denied dignity, and taught to be ashamed of where they come from, they will still search for belonging. It’s a basic human need to feel a sense of community.

The question is whether we create spaces that nurture healing, identity, and justice, or leave them vulnerable to finding belonging in places that exploit their pain.

What is Russia trying to do?
It's trying to keep NATO out of Ukraine.
It's very straightforward.
And it's been clear for 25 or 30 years to those of us who watch these things that the US policy of pushing NATO to Ukraine would be like China pushing a military
base on the Rio Grande, or what the Soviet Union did, which was trying to put missile bases into Cuba in 1962.
It would lead to war eventually if we persisted in this.
That's why at every opportunity, President Putin
said, we have an off ramp.
Stop this provocative behavior.
Not only did we not stop it, but when a Ukrainian government got in the way of the US neocon plans, that is, the government of Viktor Yanukovych got in the way of NATO enlargement because he believed wisely in
Ukraine's neutrality as a bridge between a nervous Russia and an expansionist US Military Alliance.
The US overthrew him in February 2014, and even after that.
And then many things happened.
But the US started arming Ukraine, and Russian ethnic regions in the east broke away even as late as December 2021.
As we discussed, President Putin said, look, stop the NATO enlargement.
We can avoid conflict.
That's when I talked to Jake Sullivan.
When others tried, nobody wanted to hear in the administration.
They thought they had all of the winning hand.
This is where incompetence comes in, I'm afraid.
And this Special Military Operation
ensued in February 2022.
What was its purpose?
Its purpose was a neutral Ukraine, very plainly, because within six weeks, Zelensky said, okay, okay, we'll be neutral.
Russia said, okay, we can discuss everything, but you'll be neutral.
And then the United States stepped in because we're incompetent.
And the British stepped in because they are vulgarly cynical, imperial and incompetent, and said to the Ukrainians, keep fighting.
And Zelensky made a fatal mistake, fateful and fatal for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians.
He said, okay, we abandon the negotiated agreement and we continue fighting.
And that's where we are until today.

UPDATE: My medical licence suspension review is next Wednesday – 20 May – 9AM – St James Building, Manchester.

As many of you know, besides being arrested 5 times, the pro‑'israel' lobby also reported me to the British medical regulator @GMCUK.

I won the first investigation.

The lobby escalated their vexatious complaints and began smearing me in the press.

The GMC opened a second investigation.

The lobby demanded I be referred to a tribunal (to place conditions on or suspend doctors while under investigation).

The GMC referred me to an Interim Orders Tribunal at the @the_mpts.

I won.

The lobby demanded I be re‑referred. They demanded my suspension.

Health Secretary @wesstreeting - who is funded by the 'israel' lobby - made unfounded public comments against my win. He also threatened the tribunal with lawfare.

Eight days later, the GMC referred me to the tribunal – AGAIN.

The second tribunal suspended me for 15 months on 26 November 2025.

Next week at the review, I will put forward my case again.

The existing suspension can be maintained, replaced with conditions, or revoked.

Remember: I have never had a single patient complaint in my 7‑year career.

This is political persecution. Because I opposed genocide and supremacism.
