Fun facts for my English speaking followers. The Japanese have an abbreviation for the Chicago White Sox.
シカホワ, or Shikahowa.
The name for Chicago White Sox is written in Japanese as シカゴ・ホワイトソックス (romanized as Shikago Howaitosokusu)
If you take the first two characters in both those words, you get
シカ- Shika
ホワ- Howa
So it’s essentially their version of our “ChiSox”

This is the most fun watching White Sox baseball in a long time! This team is fun, exciting and passionate. Let’s just hope they can continue playing good solid baseball the rest of the season
