@MarkSpillane_ I discovered upon moving to STL that it's more than just Imo's who makes the stuff. People here look at you like you have three heads when you say you don't like it.
@JohnHough__ It's such a shame. I hope well-run, ethical outlets like GSV, or what Chris Duerr and Shuckman are doing in Quincy with Muddy River, become the norm.
This is both exciting and a little bittersweet. I owe Wyatt a ton for where my career is now. He set a high standard in SGF, and will be an asset to the folks in Manhattan.
I've tried so many versions of this post, and have struggled not to tear up, so here it goes:
This week is my last covering sports in Southwest Missouri.
I love you, and I'm so thankful for you all. https://t.co/GGinUKitT6
@PresbyInn@AshlandPresby I grew up in a small town of 2,000 in rural Missouri and went to a Christian Church (Restorationist). The building constructed in 1916 had a wrap-around balcony like this one. They said it was built to fit 600-800 people at max capacity. Definitely a different time.
@WyattWheeler_NL I remember Stokes going absolutely nuclear during a Pink and White tournament run a few years back, then being puzzled why she didn’t go D1. Glad to see it work out in her favor since she got to SGF.
@PostenPatrick @WyattWheeler_NL As someone who saw some of Ford's better years, he built great rosters. However, there was a problem getting the full potential out of those players. See the last year with Prim, Mosley. That's a team that should've won Arch.
@ddocket Big props to the player who let me take his helmet after watching me stare at the sunset thinking there might be a good shot with that backdrop
@ChrisDuerr@KHQA@scr1athletics Seeing Mr. Stott recover from a heart attack earlier in the year and having SC at 3-0 for the first time in a long while is one of my favorite things this decade.
