Idk if u played it, but you can almost feel the friction between the devs when playing Starfield. It's unfortunate, but I reckon that game also suffered heavily because of those same a—holes.

Not only did the game feel rushed, there were some clear design decisions that culled Starfield's chances at widespread popularity. Some were so glaringly obvious, it's amazing they made it into the launch day build. The lack of ground vehicles was one of the biggest IMO. No space rovers in the space game? Huh? So mankind can travel FTL but he's forgotten how to use the wheel? Shiiit man 😆

That was likely a mistake across the board, but I would've been practically screaming at my boss if I was one of their playtesters. Yea they added vehicles post-launch, but the damage was already done in that area.

Missing UIs for player-built space settlements/bases was a big one too. Didn't even receive that until DLC 2, but at least they had the decency to make it a free update like the rover.

I'm all for people being an L, a G, a B or even a T, but how about we NOT include the retarded self-aggrandizing language for any of those groups, y'know? That doesn't help them, nor does it help a gamer with a fat wallet trying to get away from the culture war™ for an evening. 🤨 You'd think they would've connected those dots, but it is what it is at this point.

I mean I'll give credit where it's due tho 🤷‍♂️ the underlying game mechanics are solid, and they made collosal strides with what they can do with their game engine. I got more praise for Starfield, but not a whole lotta will to play it.

Was waiting on a super steep digital discount to buy it outright. Used copies are down to 30$ rn, might drop in at my local GameStop and see what they got
