I promise to be the type of entrepreneur who never forgets the early days.
I'll never shame, abuse, ignore, or mistreat anyone for knocking on my door if their intentions are good.
I'll share lessons, have patience for, and guide those just starting out on their journey.
@wiseconnector Yes, absolutely. I love talking to people with different views because it keeps you sharp and opens you up to different perspectives.
It teaches you empathy to see life through another's eyes. Tons of personal growth potential.
@ZubyMusic Also, don’t make your political views your entire personality.
Listen to alternative viewpoints, hear out the other side, do your own research, form your own opinions, make friends with people who think differently.
@mistamor I’m with you on taking my own notes during a call.
But, I use pen and paper. Yes, it takes time to transcribe into the CRM but typing away while on a call is loud.
It also might lead the person to believe I’m not paying attention or doing something else while they talk.
I've listened to literally thousands of sales calls.
The number 1 reason most sellers fail?
They talk more than they listen.
🔷Don't interrupt
🔷Take detailed notes
🔷Listen to understand, not to reply
🔷Ask questions that uncover problems
That's it. That's the secret.
Stumbled upon a new habit I love.
I’ve been stopping my work at 2:30 every day to read for 30 minutes.
Just to feed my brain, develop a healthy habit, and to make sure I spend time learning.
Anyone else do something similar?
