The event was graced by Rt Revd Reuben Kisembo, the Anglican Bishop of Rwenzori Diocese.
He encouraged planting trees that provide both nutritional and revenue generating benefits.
We took part in a consultative meeting to plant at least 6 million indigenous trees on 135,000 hectares in Tooro Kingdom.
The project will be implemented by @CARE
This initiative dubbed Restore Africa will be implemented in at least 4 districts in Tooro Kingdom.

They change the physical structure of soil & limit it's capacity to hold water, which reduces root growth & nutrients uptake.
It also reduces the pacollation of water up the soil.
The soil fertility is destroyed
