And this is why the Chinese and every other foreign “investor” will continue mistreating our people because no one is ambitious enough to build something that will change Zambian lives
Also when the conductors “sell” us to other buses….. why do the people in other buses look at us like that?💀😭
Why are you looking at me like am fugitive or a refugee 😭🚮
if you’re invited to a braai, chillas, club or trip by a guy you’re not dating without having to contribute anything, guess what you are?
i don’t have to spell it for you
A guy cancelled his wedding just because he visited the girl’s parents and saw her father washing plates and the mother was even shouting at him to hurry up and finish.
This was me when I got my bank job and I’m hearing that people have spent 7 years, 11 years there, only for me to resign after 3 months and one of them said, ‘When did you start?’
I used to think it was the worst, paid for my then girl 6 semesters to finish her LLB ko UB & she works now. She thanked me before getting married with a little P30k.
There’s a scene in Breaking Bad where Walter White’s wife realizes he’s made $7.5 million and says:
“There’s no way we can wash this money through a car wash. No car wash in the world makes that kind of money in a year.”
That line hit me. Because it exposes a truth most people ignore: How much you earn is capped by the kind of business you run.
You can work harder, stay longer, even get smarter - but you’ll never make more than what your business model is designed to carry.
