@Erntastedfresh At a certain point you stop feeling bad for white people(like Mameron) bcs like how are you performatively focusing on Brits(who are legit the same blood as you) when theres literal browns actively murdering ur people? Its insanity
Shavkat would get hit a good bit dont get me wrong(although hes improved defense in the Ian fight), but even if Belal were to crack him belal kinda just has no ability sting shavkat at all. Therefore Shavkat similar to Neal/Jdm/Luque would be able to just walk him down and bomb him out, especially because Shavkat is genuinely so accurate in the pocket. Outboxing prime Neal and Ian Garry is pretty impressive. Rewatch his fight vs Neal and Belal vs Neal, its actually impressive how good Shavkat is offensive.
@alisburner67@illa Also Shavkat subbed Wonderboy, unlike Belal/Bonfim. Belal cant deal with dangerous pocket boxers with chins, which everything Shavkat is and more.
@alisburner67@illa Have u ever watched a Shavkat fight? He wouldve just bombed out Belal in the pocket like he did vs a way better/power boxer in Neal. Shavkat is Belals worst matchup
@nerd_gaethje Yup, another thing is a lot of these hipster kinda forget sometimes the physical attributes/how the actual fight would go when breaking down winners fight because they are so focused on the intricate technical interactions. Like there are humans who believed Belal would beat Ddp.
@ManOfSteelAS Yo genuinely the era of Belal glaze during like late 2024-early 2025 was genuinely psychosis. Ppl genuinely had him beating DDP, Strickland, and Shavkat๐ญ I think when like overhated fighters like Ank/Belal win the belt/good fights, ppl overcompensate and start overgasssing them.
@Remy_Mac_Priv@ummanywayTen@RyanAWagMMA If any type of grabbing is allowed Arman would win within 10 seconds flat. Its just the physical strength difference from years of grappling which would be the issue.
Its so crazy when I see people say that Belal lost to Bonfim because he didn't shoot any tds, which is stupid because if Belal could take Bonfim down without reprocussions he would, but Belal was put on the backfoot(and would be likely to take a bad shot) which would be terrible against someone with the sub threat of Bonfim. Also coupled with the fact that Belal isn't really known for spamming tds on competent/dangerous grapplers(Burns/Bonfim/Luque), people think Belal is an arab version of Merab because he fought someone in Leon who literally has no zero ability to keep Belal off of him in the pocket, which opened up tds and allowed Belal to shoot a million times in that fight. But on a generality Belal isnt known for td spamming like he did vs Leon.
@joachimA328754@HoriguchiMafia I dont think he can takedown and especially control Bonfim tbf, and also Bonfim is dangerous as shit with front chokes. So Belal was on the backfoot and if he did shot a bad td he could get subbed.
@MonricOW@chrisbk80@WonderbreadMMA Bonfim is decent top 5-7 range WW, and yes he had a stinker against Wonderboy/Dalby but hes shown great competence otherwise. Belals also never been really a Merab esc wrestler especially into explosive strikers with bjj, hes always been more so a boxer first vs Burns/Luque etc.
@BingBongToilet@WonderbreadMMA That is true to an extent but through his career, he did concede the backfoot often into dangerous boxers(Luque/Neal), and I think even earlier in Belals career Bonfim would be able to pressure him.
@travispickler@Rockxtario0 Yeah I think so, obviously Bonfim does sometimes exit the pocket with his chin the air so Usman could flatten him with the cross(Jorge style), but other than that sequence Bonfim should be better in most areas. Way faster, more athletic, better bjj, and more dynamic on the feet.
@BozkirliSniper@TaylorJohn41431@N0331Hello Believe or not Hill used to be pretty fast with a lot of power. He had great power/durability/cardio especially with his frame.
