#5G is looking good at the hollow. Not fully covered, no surprise, but it is strong enough in desirable places, like this one. Should be able to do #iot and #edgecomputing stuff with minimal trenches & private infrastructure. Surveyed with an iPhone on @ATT.
Given the decline of Twitter X whatever, this is the last post. Diagram is one I’ve been showing for a while. Stranded green energy used to create digital value.
New social media endeavor in 2024!
New @StillhouseComp#card tells the story: mist is #cloud . Spare #greenenergy can green #computing , benefiting property owners large & small.
Revenue generating #edgecomputing where clean renewable natural resources & #5g meet. Like the Appalachian hollow in the picture.
Tropical Storm Nicole flooded easiest #microhydro outlet site by a couple feet. Raises ?’s about turbine placement. @Polycam3D capture shows rock channel & #trailcam. This site could be accessible by family car +50 ft.

Tropical Storm Nicole gave direct blow to the south-facing hollow. ALL fall color disappeared overnight, not much else.
-Upstream #microhydro intake #trailcam was good news, more volume but not big rise
-Older creek cam & downstream outlet shows several X volume, big rises
@alexiskold Don’t forget Stillhouse Compute: green compute cycles from occasional use properties, esp those w springs.
Besides the bears, we got coyotes on the job. But as the property doesn’t have a street address yet, they can’t order from ACME.

@alexiskold Appalachian green compute cycles, 1st from a #NC micro-hydro hollow w #5G
Values:
-more of the world‘s compute cycles should be green
-property owners w occasional energy use (eg 2nd homes) should have more incentive to build out renewables
-bears

Deer triggered a photo with the sun directly on the camera. Note the sunbeam in the foreground before the deer’s head. Also, that purple stripe at the rear feet is an artifact.
Coyote lingered at the trail crossing for several pictures. This is the same spot that deer and other animals frequent.
Looks like he is howling. The moon was full at this time.

Some close ups of the 4 bears that strolled down the ancient trade road last month -- a mama and two cubs in one shot, and a solo bear that followed two days later. All seem to be going down to the creek. Maybe the wilderness across the creek.
These two deer grabbed an early morning drink recently.
”how‘d you sleep?”
”1/2 hour with 1 eye open, just like every night.”
”I’m always hungry. And worried someone is going to eat me.”
”Not paranoia if they really are out to get you.”
“WHAT’S THAT??”
”HUH?!? WHAT!?”
Some fall color from the state road camera. Looking from the northern property line facing south towards distant mountains.
Deer facing south is there too.
