I am still skeptical about the results of President Trump’s China visit. I think it will take months to see what actual results were obtained.
Prove to us that China bought Alaskan Oil, Boeing got the contract to build 200 airplanes for China, Nvidia is selling them AI chips and any other “deals” agreed to have happened.
It was a spectacular couple of days, but the proof is not in words spoken, but in actions completed.
China is in economic disarray and President Xi Jinping has much more to gain than President Trump, so that is a hopeful sign.
The U.S. and China are the World’s two actual Superpowers. We may never be true friends, but if we can work together civilly and peacefully, we can change the World in a positive direction, I think.
