Year 2 had an amazing time @Stmaryslight in Whitley Bay this week. It was great to climb to the top of the tower and go rock pooling. We even found some rare crabs!
Here are our top Lighthouse themed adventures! Climb 137 steps at @Stmaryslight in Whitley Bay, take a staycation to Wales and stay at the brilliant @westusk, or venture to North Ronaldsay to see the UK’s tallest land-based lighthouse!
Thank you for coming!... the children were amazing as always! Sat so patiently whilst stuck indoors, and persevered through the rain when we did head out to do a bit of rock pooling.
Bad weather didn’t stop us from having an amazing day at St Mary’s Lighthouse!
Huge thanks to @Stmaryslight for arranging some extra indoor activities for us too! 👍
Thinking of flying your drone at @Stmaryslight nature reserve? PLEASE watch this video before you do and help us protect our wildlife and natural habitats.
Massive thanks to @Stmaryslight for their kind donations of buckets, spades, sand moulds, lifebuoy rings, skipping ropes and a remote control car for our giant sand pit!
Our @OPALOutdoorplay playground is taking shape nicely 👍🏽😊
If you are planning on heading to the beautiful @Stmaryslight this half term please be considerate of the local wildlife.
Please give the seals and other wildlife the space they need to conduct their daily life cycles.
