I spoke to @viceuk about the use of isolation booths in schools.
Instead of a school being inclusive and trying to bring on everybody, this kind of punishment is writing people off. Ultimately, this has a knock-on effect for the whole of society.

The Government's cut £85m from public health budgets this year alone.
Yesterday in Parliament, Tory MP after Tory MP got up to speak, but they didn't even seem to know what 'public health' actually means!
4,437 patients had to wait more than 28 days to see a GP in my area last month.
This is how I think we can fix the GP system.

It’s been so impressive to see the hard work that @OwenRiddle9 and Sharon have done in Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree - you’ll make great councillors #le2019#LabourDoorstep
Only voting for a Labour council can protect Stockton and Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree from savage Government cuts. As councillors we'd work tirelessly to do this as well. Make sure it's BOTH votes Labour on May 2nd.

Labour's young candidates for the Local Elections to Stockton Council on May 2nd.
This is how much has been taken away from schools in Stockton since 2015.
I’ll be speaking up for teachers, pupils and parents later today in Parliament because our children deserve the absolute very best education. https://t.co/YbSvrRk4ex

Had a great day with the Stockton Young Labour Campaign Day in Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree & Billingham West wards with young council candidates @OwenRiddle9 and @Katie_d_weston
Many of you will be getting your postal votes from today. Make sure it's both votes Labour and both votes for Sharon Bailey and Owen Riddle for positive actions and a positive approach for Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree!
Getting quite a few questions about the Young Labour Twitter.
I proposed a social media policy at our exec meeting last Wednesday.
It was voted through. The policy gives control of the account to the NEC Youth Rep and I. Exec expressed a desire for a social media... (1/2)
Our next meeting is at Costa Coffee (opposite the Town Hall) on Sunday 7th April at 5pm. We'll be discussing the upcoming local elections, areas we're concerned about and policies we support concerning young people.

Incredible to see so many Young Labour activists standing to be councillors across the country and submitting their nomination papers.
They're all absolute heroes. We need even more young Labour councillors fighting #ForMany in our town halls ✊️🌹
I'm backing @votesat16 in Parliament today! 🗳️
At 16, you're old enough to get a job, to contribute and play a role in your community so you should have the right to vote too. #votesat16
This is really important work. It's never a child's fault that their parent is in prison, but children of prisoners are vulnerable and at risk of physical, emotional and social harm. if Govt is serious about breaking the cycle of disadvantage we must do more for these children
