Here is some EV data from NZ. Registration ~= sales.
Guess what NZ did between July 2021 - December 2023?
$8,000 discount on new EV
$3,000 penalty on ICE to pay for the EV discount.
As soon as the discount ends, what happens?
Correct, EV sales tanked.
Subsidies >> climate.
You know what being disarmed helps more than your national government tyrannising you?
It helps globalisation tyrannise you.
Even now the Australian misinformation bill + facial recognition is being touted as "our global obligation".
Far easier to invade a disarmed nation.
I donโt know that Iโve ever posted โwatch this video.โ
Watch this video. This is EXACTLY how you treat feds when they come to your door. Film every single thing. Tell them nothing.
And treat your local FBI agent like the town prostitute.
@bell00david I can't talk to my housemate about it, but this morning's conversation was heart breaking, given what I believe based on the data we have now...

I hate coincidences. House mate has a work colleague who contracted pancreatic cancer last year and died just recently.
Her last conversation with said colleague was all about colleague's partner's successful heart surgery... ok he is fat but still.
Heart issue + cancer = ???
The same message will no doubt be echoed as Australian dictatorial politicians - who royally screwed up the information on COVID + vaccines - try to implement misinformation / disinformation legislation here.
Democracy is great up to a certain point, then it needs refereshing.
@sonicboomer0011@AussieVal10@AlboMP Libertarians love immigration, just in case you missed that part of their remit.
They also expect our manufacturing base to compete with India + China slave labour + free shipping, no tariffs allowed, as it's anti-competitive.
They have more good points but they still suck IMO.

@MannHatcock I think it goes more along the lines of
1. unions charge exorbitant rates for construction
2. unions donate to political party (typically left wing)
3. political party approves construction projects.
4. go to 1.
Often there's an argument that weather predictions are hard but long range climate predictions are more reliable.
If this is so, I would only ask why noone thought to predict the lack of necessity for the water desalination Victoria Aus have spent 100s of millions for no reason.
How weak is the West? This weak: Kurdistan requires special ops snipers etc to destabilise the region.
The West? eg: Australia? You can easily convince hoi polloi here that the Aboriginals "own" the land (in the 70s it was custodians) and we should give it all back.
Piss weak.
@Stoichastich You've never operated a greenhouse, have you. You don't understand what optimum growth levels are, and you don't understand why we need to add CO2 to greenhouses to get plant-level CO2 concentrations up to 250 ppm.
You've forgotten all your botany? You've forgotten history?
Complete + utter clown says CO2 optimum are between 200 + 300ppm.
Clearly never tried to maximise growth in a greenhouse or seen the industry that supplies CO2 generators to people who do grow things in greenhouses.
Muppet gonna muppet.
@Stoichastich@CapersQ Did you know that with too much CO2 we canโt breathe properly, snd plants shut down photosynthesis?
Optimum CO2 levels are between 200 and 300 ppm ambient CO2. Any chance weโll get to optimum in your lifetime?
