The sun has set on our Stage 1 structure's time in Moses Lake, but it will soon rise over our launch site in Cape Canaveral.
No one said the road to launch was easy, but it sure is a pretty ride. ππ

Big tank. Big tests. Big milestone.
Nova Stage 1 proto-qualification is complete.
46 structural objectives verified, plus key fluid systems, avionics, software, ground systems, and ops demos. (More detail in our linked blog post.)
This is where new rockets often find the hard stuff; Nova (and the Stoke team) handled it. Our local partners at the @PORTOFMOSESLAKE , the Grant County Sheriff's Office and Public Works department, plus our vendor Norco made sure we had the support we needed every step of the way.

Last week a thunderstorm rolled through the Moses Lake area, causing high winds (but no damage) at our test site. Excellent preparation by the local team ensured that our Stage 1 structure held fast despite wind, rain, and lightning. β‘οΈπ
Soundπon: epic fly-by footage of the ongoing Zenith engine testing and Stage 1 structural qualifications happening at our test site in Moses Lake. π€π
Getting frosty in Moses Lake. π₯Ά
A thin layer of frost forms around our Stage 1 structure as it fills with cryogenic liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen.
These tests let us demonstrate structural and fluid design margins, an important aspect of the proto-qualification process. π¦π‘π
The coolest "silo" in Eastern WA... is a Stage 1 rocket structure.π€
Enjoy this footage of all the testing happening in Moses Lake, from structural qualification to engine hot fires.
Testing is LIVE in Moses Lake, for both our Stage 1 structure and Zenith engines. Proud of the teams who are working relentlessly to drive us forward on the road to launch.π£οΈπ
Our Stage 1 structure is now shipped, delivered, and ready for testing in Moses Lake, WA. Standing in its full vertical orientation, this flight hardware will be thoroughly vetted before returning to Kent for some final touches before the journey to Cape Canaveral, FL begins.
First trim test of our Zenith ZE12 engine to assess the flight thrust chamber assembly's (TCA) design performance and to run the engine system through its range of power levels and mixture ratiosβalong with performance upgrades to our fuel turbopump π§βπ³ππ€
