@TomD80106675 @WFAN660 Exactly, for pure baseball reasons, a 5 year deal is fine, Pete is a better than decent 1st baseman. On the legacy side, keep a Met for his entire playing career, there is nothing wrong with that…all time HR hitter for the Mets..just a stupid non move by Stearns

@BigBillyMazza @genethelawyer I would not trade Soto, but Lindor has obviously lost something, is he still injured, maybe? Players do get older and lose a step, a great Mets example is my favorite Met, Keith Hernandez, he lost it fast in 1989…that’s all I’m sayin
