@SleeperMets U need Pitching for the future, I’d be ok with a modest contract. $65-70m over 3 years..but as others have stated, if the return is AMAZING, u have to move him and u can always try and sign him in the offseason
@NYNJHarper I totally understand ur Ewing at 2B. The Mets don’t have a 2B man, who is to say that Ewing could not be an all star for years to come at 2B? #LGM
At this point, aren’t all Met fans just waiting for more rookies to get promoted? Thornton should be with the Mets already, but how about Clifford? Prone to strikeouts, but I’d like to see him promoted now, if he struggles, u send him down #LGM#PromoteTheRookies
@Blyzzard211@JustinCLeto 93 and 03, look those years up…of course this year has been awful as well. I do blame Stearns, I don’t get the vote of confidence from Cohen..he should get very little credit for 24…I stay tuned for the rookies #LGM
@EvanRobertsWFAN But wouldn’t it be great. No matter what, we root for the unexpected.. a 7-1 run before the break. I’m saying it now 😁LGM #MetsOnARoll
@TomD80106675@WFAN660 Exactly, for pure baseball reasons, a 5 year deal is fine, Pete is a better than decent 1st baseman. On the legacy side, keep a Met for his entire playing career, there is nothing wrong with that…all time HR hitter for the Mets..just a stupid non move by Stearns
@BigBillyMazza@genethelawyer I would not trade Soto, but Lindor has obviously lost something, is he still injured, maybe? Players do get older and lose a step, a great Mets example is my favorite Met, Keith Hernandez, he lost it fast in 1989…that’s all I’m sayin
