January 8: This @FBI is cutting waste, streamlining operations, and saving the taxpayers millions.

Following @realDonaldTrump’s Executive Order on “Implementing the President’s Department of Government Efficiency Cost Efficiency Initiative,” in 2025 we conducted an exhaustive review of our contract spending.

That resulted in a savings of over $316 million and $1.2 billion in overall contract ceiling savings – a huge number for the FBI.

We’re also evaluating our real estate footprint, especially thanks to our new headquarters building move, and shuttering unnecessary real estate leases. By consolidating locations, we’re saving the taxpayers millions in rent payments – $10 million in annual rent payments from closing one downtown D.C. lease alone – with dozens of additional sites under review.

Saved funds are being allocated to crush violent crime and defend the homeland as we work to keep Americans safe. No more wasting money on bloated, inefficient, bureaucratic projects that will take decades to benefit the taxpayer.

We’re putting the money in delivering results where it matters and bringing record results:

-Historic 20% drop in nationwide murder rate
-100% increase in arrests year to year
-2,000+ kilos of Fentanyl seized (up 31%) enough to kill 150+ million Americans
-Over 6,000 child victims located (up 22%)
-Espionage arrests up 35%
