@AdamZivo@EricDLombardi I'm all for having better leaders in all parties. Don't know if I'd vote for him over New Blue but he'd definitely be far preferable over NES.
@marysed11@BagelPolling This is 27% of all Francophones, not 27% of Quebec Francophones, correct? I could imagine Francophones outside Quebec (NE & SE Ontario, St Boniface) voting Conservative at fairly high rates, even in New Brunswick, it could be over 27%?
@marysed11@BagelPolling 7% of Anglophones voting Conservative still doesn't seem right. Conservatives did way better than 7% in most of urban Toronto and Vancouver. Unless the anglophone population of Quebec is much more skewed towards 1st/2nd generation immigrants than I realize?
@CDNprojections@AbuYahyaCA@SunriseEnjoyer And probably Metis vote quite conservative, similar to rural white Western Canadians. The Freedom Convoy did seem to have significant indigenous support though.
@CDNprojections@AbuYahyaCA@SunriseEnjoyer So even if indigenous people don't vote as Conservative as their white neighbours, their white neighbours probably vote significantly more Conservative than the Canadian average that's more skewed by the Martitimes/Quebec/Ottawa/GTA/Lower Mainland.
@ChrisMartzWX Less drought struck areas further east that were growing winter wheat were likely harvesting it around this time or a bit before, resulting in bare soil. Or at least it was in the drying stage resulting in lower evapotranspiration.
@ChrisMartzWX Corn evapotranspiration remains high under heat. Other plants like wheat or perennial prairie plants that are going to seed might be reducing evapotranspiration in July? Not sure about the drought stressed forests that existed before.
@wil_da_beast630 I think many women go into porn fairly enthusiastically or at least willingly, but then a large proportion seriously regret it after a few years.
@BagelPolling So what do you think is the ideal pathway for young women who want to have children? Grad school, then kids, then start to work once the kids are in kindergarten?
