The process of detaining and deporting people is inhumane , it causes trauma bot just for the person deported but their partners, children &family they are torn from. Please have those impacted today in your thoughts. We will post updates on herd when we have them. #stoptheplane

with cost of removals, the plane and crew etc and money given to the receiving gov which is supposed to be spent on the 'resettlement ' of the deported people but which they do not benefit from as people contact us seeking support to find shelter, food to est etc once deported

from loved ones . Those who were deported to Zimbabwe on the July flight were taken to a centre & quarantined, told they would just be dumped on street in city centre & this is what happened. Left destitute, homeless. Hundreds of thousands of pounds is spent on charter flights

Today is the day of the 2nd charter flight mass deportation to Zimbabwe. Many people have been taken off it but there are still some fighting their case to stay. We expect again to see a virtually empty flight take off but even if a tiny number it is still too many torn
