Ranked-choice voting education campaigns have been expensive, time-consuming failures.
NYC spent $15,000,000 on its voter education campaign leading up to the 2021 Democratic mayoral primary, and over 140,000 ballots were still eliminated.
Ranked-choice elections outside of D.C. have shown how effective candidates can be at educating the public on the voting method. In New York City, Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s rise to power involved teaming up with competitors and making cross-endorsements.

Ranked-choice voting costs more, confuses voters, and turns election night into a waiting game.
Complex counting procedures and delayed results make it harder for citizens to follow the process and verify the outcome.
The result? Less transparency, less confidence, and less trust in our elections.
Good election laws should make voting and vote counting easier to understand—not harder.
"Repealing ranked-choice voting is a common-sense step toward restoring transparency, public trust, and a system where the people decide elections plainly and directly."

Ranked choice voting will be used in primaries this month in Maine & DC.
In other states, crowded primaries or primary runoffs will deliver unrepresentative results – problems that would be solved w/ RCV.

“Two states banned it, multiple cities rejected it, and Maine’s highest court blocked expansion efforts in a difficult year for advocates.”—@harryrothbaron
Philadelphia has a serious violent crime problem and is home to the largest open-air drug market on the east coast.
Ranked-choice voting is the last the city needs.
Alaska don't make this mistake again.
2020: You were confused by the wording related to campaign finance laws and jungle primary and RCV being on the same ballot. Shouldn't have been on the same ballot. Alaska Supreme Court dropped the ball.
2024: You were confused by Vote Yes to Repeal RCV because the wording required a Yes Vote to Repeal RCV.
2026: Vote Yes to Repeal Ranked Choice Voting.
Don’t want RCV? Then you shouldn’t even be allowed to vote.
These are the elitists pushing RCV (he wants to call it STV, which seems like great marketing 🤢).
