Whenever I see thousands of dogs on the streets, I don't see a menace. I see walking reminders of corruption. Corruption so deep that most people can't even comprehend it. This also applies to cows and other stray animals, which are human-created problems.
The funds meant for the Animal Birth Control (ABC) program disappear into corruption, while countless innocent souls are born on the streets only to be left to die a slow, gruesome death.
Dogs can't go to a vet clinic and get themselves sterilized. They were simply born on the streets, and they only know one thing that is survival. Like every other living being, they are driven by the instinct to survive at any cost. They’ll look for food, safety, and shelter. Dogs are a special case because they have always been dependent on humans for these things. We, humans, have created dogs, and they have evolved to be our companions.
So, when a dog hater beats a dog with a rod, the dog only understands two things: that he is in pain and a human caused that pain. And he’ll adapt his behavior accordingly. He may become fearful, defensive, or aggressive. He may even bite another person.
But how can we expect uneducated dog haters to understand such a basic fact of biology? It's not some complicated science. Even humans can become aggressive if they are always exposed to violence, as we see with countless videos of people fighting. Why would animals be any different?
Dog haters, for once, should hold the people responsible for ABC accountable. Animal lovers are already doing a lot. Most of us have indies at home, have paid from our own pockets for dogs’ sterilization, and have taken care of countless dogs.
PETA India Honorary Director @TandonRaveena helped change a tiny kitten’s life around by rescuing her in Mumbai and ensuring she gets her happy ever after.
If you're ready to welcome a loving companion into your home, please give a rescued animal, like this kitten, a fresh start by adopting from a local shelter or rescue group; never buy from a breeder or pet shop.

This is how Dog lovers kids are.. But then we have men in Dog haters' families who would pee in their pants when they see a dog! May be this is why they hate dogs and dog lovers!
How many more mother dogs must endure endless breeding, only to be abandoned once they've given birth? When will this heartbreaking industry come to an end? 😢🐶

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
A group of animal lovers gathered to raise their voices for animals in Noida, India. Soon, they were joined by a four-legged friend who instinctively realized that these two-legged individuals loved and respected his clan.
You are free to tag The Good, The Bad, The Ugly on X.
P.S Dogs possess an incredible innate sense; they immediately know who is Good, who is Bad, and who is Ugly.
Factory farmed? Free-range? Grass-fed?
It doesn't matter what type of farm the animals come from - they're all sent to the same slaughterhouses and share the same fate. 🔪💔

I completed Week 223 of my weekly 24-hour dry fast campaign #FastAgainstAnimalAbuse.
This week's message: Stop Riding Horses 🐴🤍
When I see horses used for our entertainment, I feel concerned because I believe animals deserve respect, freedom, and lives free from exploitation.
When citizens report an alleged act of animal cruelty, the duty of the police is to enforce the law—not discourage the complainant.
At KR Puram Police Station, caregivers reporting a seriously injured community dog were reportedly asked:
❌ “Is this your dog?”
❌ “The dog is always at fault.”
❌ “Relocate the dog.”
None of these questions determines whether an offence has been committed.
Cruelty to animals is punishable under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, and where applicable, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The ownership status of the animal is legally irrelevant to investigating an alleged offence.
Refusing to act, diverting the complaint, or asking that the victim be relocated instead of investigating the accused undermines the rule of law and public confidence in policing.
We call upon @dcpwhitefield and @BlrCityPolice to immediately examine the conduct of KR Puram Police Station, ensure the complaint is handled strictly in accordance with law, and hold the responsible persons accountable.
The law must protect the voiceless—not deny them justice.
Enforce the applicable law with immediate effect on this case @dcpwhitefield@BlrCityPolice@CPBlr@DgpKarnataka@CMofKarnataka @BommaiOffice @AWBIIndia

How Grassroots Activists Are Forgotten While Politicians Claim the Glory !
The story of the Dhangadhi bridge in Uttarakhand’s Jim Corbett area is a textbook example of how grassroots activists are forgotten by politicians in India.
For years, a seasonal stream on this stretch of the National Highway would swell during monsoon rains, blocking traffic for hours, endangering lives, and disrupting a vital elephant corridor.
Many lost their lives, and millions faced severe hardships simply because the government lacked the political will to fast-track a vital girder bridge.
Despite years of public suffering, no local Minister or MLA took a serious initiative to address the crisis.
Left with no choice, local citizens formed a pressure group in 2023 called the "Dhangadhi Sangharsh Samiti" and launched a relentless protest to force the construction forward.
The High Court eventually had to step in, directing the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) @NHAI_Official to increase the bridge's height to ensure safe passage for elephants underneath.
It took five long years of bureaucratic delays to complete the project.
Throughout this time, it was the persistent advocacy of the Sangharsh Samiti that kept the pressure on authorities.
Yet, when the bridge was finally completed, politicians swooped in for the inauguration, conveniently ignoring the citizens who fought for it.
The pivotal role of the activists was completely brushed aside—they weren't even invited to the ceremony, let alone credited for their years of struggle.

The Supreme Court is playing a dangerous game with public health. By ordering a mass dog round up, they have completely ignored the warnings of 2000 scientists and doctors. This isnt just an animal issue, its a reckless policy that invites a health disaster.
Listen to science, not panic.

Dairy is evil. Heartbreaking visuals from Aarey Dairy Milk Farm, Goregaon East (400063). Newborn calves are being kept tied on muddy ground in a weak, starving condition, with dead calves also seen at the site. As per the locals, the calves are deliberately denied milk and food so more milk can be sold for profit.
This demands an immediate rescue, inspection, and strict legal action against the operators, Atif & Hassan Shaikh. Animals cannot be treated as disposable @MumbaiPolice@mybmc@CPMumbaiPolice@MahaForest@AwbiBallabhgarh
