@BradArnoldWX@spotternetwork reports have become so unreliable lately. Had many false reports of wall clouds last week and when I questioned SN I got “all reports are verified”. That was it…
I remember the day my dad got laid off.
He came home early. Sat at the kitchen table.
Didn’t say anything for a long time.
28 years at the same company.
$52,000 a year.
Same desk. Same commute.
Same handshake every Christmas party.
They called him into HR on a Tuesday morning and handed him a folder.
2 weeks severance. $2,000.
A COBRA packet at $1,400 a month he couldn’t afford and a thank you for your service.
He was 54.
Too young for Medicare.
Too old to start over.
Too proud to tell us how scared he was.
He spent the next 4 years working part time jobs at $14 an hour.
Not to retire comfortably.
Not to build anything.
Just to keep health insurance so a hospital bill wouldn’t finish what the layoff started.
28 years.
$1.4 million in value given to that company.
And they never called to check on him once.
I will never forget that kitchen table moment.
That’s when I learned that no company will ever love you back.
🚨 MUST WATCH:
Johnny Carson (a Democrat) opens the 1981 Oscars, a day after the assassination attempt on President Reagan, with genuine class and respect.
The entire liberal Hollywood crowd erupts in applause.
Today? Jimmy Kimmel jokes about Melania Trump becoming a widow.
Pretty wild! A photo from the Enid area was carried over 100 miles away to the Bartlesville area by the Enid EF4 tornado! Confirmed by the original poster who found the photo. While not exactly an uncommon occurrence, this is usually a calling card of violent tornadoes! #okwx
I would expect upgrade from SPC on the new day one outlook. The 0Z cams have PDS soundings for both Tulsa & OKC areas. I would expect a few significant tornados and 4” hail possible. #okwx
Amid all the negative news in 2026, how about this — a neighborhood in Oklahoma was *wiped off the map* with ZERO fatalities.
The watches and warnings happened perfectly.
The science unfolded right.
The residents did exactly what they should have.
This is so encouraging.
This power explosion was captured on still image prior to this strong tornado crossing over the road SE of Enid, Oklahoma, USA this evening. (23 April, 2026). A quick edit will be released shortly. The full chase edit will follow thereafter. Subscribe to https://t.co/PcaNkjY9sC for the releases. #okwx @NWSNorman
How does one report erroneous and habitual @spotternetwork reporting? There is no contact info on the website and I’ve sent a Fb message to no avail. Didn’t there used to be a way to do that? #okwx#wxtwitter
