Practicing my C# in godot while making a little game about going to a new neighbourhood to make friends with different characters like dragons, cats, dogs.
We just finished Vox machina, a pretty entertaining season for the most part. π I am not a critter so these are my first touches with the story. They probably are fateful to the campaign.
@LOTHMY Change does not often happen in a single day. I do not know if he will change and everyone is free not to interact with him at all. But in the occasion he actually changes we should encourage that. Let the actions speak and so far they dont look that good yet. Future will tell.
I personally agree with this statement. As someone that was a total butt as a teenager. I am glad I could grow in the last 20 years into what I am now. If I had been labeled for always to what I was back then, or worse become more like that. It would only have hurted more people.
I spent most of the day yesterday reading through all of the replies on my @Asmongold post. Lots of hot takes on both sides claiming that he's irredeemable or did nothing wrong in the first place.
For those that think he's irredeemable.
What if you're wrong? The first chance at real change in his behavior and the go to is to hit him with a stick. You're creating an environment that only promotes further sliding into that character because then at least he has acceptance. Polarized environments don't help breed change they just enforce more polarization. Would you rather someone with a massive following self reflect and admit wrongdoing or be pushed further into a hateful state? What kind of example is even being set here?
For those that think he did nothing wrong.
He admitted what he said was wrong many times. It was reductive, hateful, and needless. There is no questioning that at this point and claiming it to be true just reinforces an echo chamber. The internet is a small place but the world is larger than your take on it.
Both extreme stances on this argument are absurd to me. I've spent my time fostering a community where failure is not an end but a beginning to growth. The first step is and always will be introspection and self reflection. For those that claim they lost faith in me and will no longer watch my content, you weren't watching it anyway if this is a surprise to you.
Does it mean he will come out of this the person you want him to be? Likely not, but I can both denounce his awful behavior and positively reinforce his good behavior. Just like I would for anyone else.

@LouiseMBuckley I would personally say give the feedback. It is at the end the author's choice to do the edits because they believe you are true, or do not and find someone else that appreciates the story how they see it. I don't think there is anything bad about feedback if not stated as facts.
@TheaLanden π Me and my partner also met at university going for a master's degree. He may step on all the legos. I thank my partner for ignoring his silly comment π€£
@DaniFinnwrites I am trying to make it one group conversation, but if i hear after feedback it isn't flowing I can change it into smaller chapters with different points of view for sure.
