@DrWendyRocks I am cooking the meals, since my Sweetie ( Proposed to her this day in '78 - 1978 - , a long time ago) took to her bed. Very proud of my growing #Culinary "Chops" ( So METHODICAL!) . . and I often get it RIGHT! Assign him some meals . . . /:-( IT IS GOOD FOR HIS MIND!
A leader doesn’t doesn’t look to criticize, a leader accepts criticism and learns. A leader doesn’t look for praise, a leader offers praise. A leader doesn’t ask for trust, a leader earns your trust. We all have those who need us to love them and lead them. Be a leader
Not Related but the jump would be similar, if only Climate Readings were collected from discrete stations and not " Cherry-Picked" from around the Globe. Still, I respect Meteorologist friends beliefs in #GlobalWarming

A nerdy poem I wrote for fourth graders a while ago. Green, green, olivine; peridot is when you’re on show; drops of water, sooner or later, you become serpentine. #geology#birthstone#volcano#mineral#scicomm
Looks like the M6.5 Idaho event was at the center of the northwestern tectonic whirlpool. Pretty low strain rate area (as Kreemer et al.'s 2012 map shows better). And @UNAVCO 's velocity viewer is pretty awesome. #IdahoEarthquake
#Moscow Idaho, approximately 300km from the epicenter: we felt ~3 sec P-wave (violent north-south shaking), ~8-10 second break, ~5 sec of S-wave (rattling of pictures and plants), followed by 7 seconds of surface wave causing sea sick inducing motions . #idahoearthquake
