@lennonluvrr i always wonder what americans are actually saying to each other. they lack so many great terms and just don't really have an equivalent replacement for them. it seems like such a dull, bland way to exist.
@sumguy265@Y40IFRQTTING no, a new language would be created. either english would be greatly simplified, which would render the point moot, or it'd merge with another. english is how it is purely because this exact thing has happened before. the faith used latin, the nobles used french. english changed.
@sumguy265@Y40IFRQTTING no, there is absolutely no way english would be the lingua franca it is today if it was harder than every other language. it'd be used in official stuff still, yeah, but it wouldn't be being used en masse in casual conversation like it is in reality.
@sumguy265@Y40IFRQTTING i didn't say english was the easiest, just that there's no way it's harder. there's no "easiest language", it depends on how your mind works and where you're starting from. but english is not mystically harder and it wouldn't have become the lingua franca if it was.
@Nightexd@catgirlprostate I didn't say I couldn't just take it off, I said it was stupid it's on there in the first place. I shouldn't have to cut my way into some vimto
@mitchelld199 off the top of my head... top left was a willmott-brown iirc? then 2 don't knows. ted and joyce, american lad michelle was shagging, gals that burnt louise on the candles, i think that's literally denise's mother??, obv the taylors, don't know, woody, 2 more idks
@muxsin2003 idk where ppl got this idea that you suddenly look old in your 30s from... me and my friends are in our 30s now and no-one can visually tell us apart from 99% of ppl in their early 20s. i once got ID'd going into a bar and a girl we were with that was 18 didn't lmao
@cucumbert0wn@DeusFoxy@ProtonInspector pie-ay-uh doesn't flow naturally in the majority of british accents. you have to add stops because of how our phonetics work that sound stilted, almost as tho you're saying 3 separate words, whereas ma-yorca and mar-baya don't require that.
@baglebasil depends what the actual room looks like tbh. the front row at my local cinema is practically miles away from the screen and the chairs also recline so it's a very good watching position.
