Good afternoon,
We are now at the stage where everyone needs to write to their MP demanding redress for the failure of the Gambling Commission and FCA in relation to the FI scandal.

🔺 “nothing short of a pyramid scheme” as it created a bubble which could only be maintained only by constant growth in the user base

@SullivanL04@bigmanbets2 @FootyCreative @Footballindexh1 There is actually not much to debate.
End of the day, whichever compensation is most realistic for redress is the one that will be gone for.
If it’s a ponzi angle, I expect it to be net deposits. If it is a bookies with open bets it isn’t paying out on, average cost.
@Sporting_Panda If it had to go to something, I would go to head to head in grand slam finals, and then semis if a tie.
The goat has to be the one to turn up at the biggest moments and do whatever to win the biggest tournaments.
I would go for tie if level when the dust settles personally.
If you have been affected, and have not completed this, it can be done in 1 minute and all of us who have been affected need to apply the pressure now 🙌
Further to the news about the Independent Inquiry earlier this week, we would encourage everyone to write to their MP demanding redress, pending the findings of the Inquiry. With the help of @cleanupgambling, you can use their template at https://t.co/0ZoHLLUfz0
@PerryFIndex 👍🏼 the only negative with not being signed up is if a settlement was reached between fi and Leigh Day you would miss out.
However that is seen as very unlikely
@FootballindexSR @PerryFIndex I have been in the camp Sam that FI had two fundamental flaws which I have spoken to them about. IPD's and a dividend deadline. Both fundamentally stopped a functioning market.
However the PB matrix doesn't do that. Whether it can be improved with tweaks is subjective.
@FootballindexSR @PerryFIndex I disagree with your point here Sam that people ask for matrix change = matrix isn't good enough.
A lot of necessary changes have been/are being changed. A guarantee of no changes to the PB matrix and no core dividend reduction until the 22/23 season would be a good idea for FI
