nope. you seem to be doing a good enough job of that all on your own.
A friendly reminder. Making foolish assumptions and vague generalizations doesn't make your ALL CAPS enthusiasm read any more true. If you're going to insist on such vaguaries, I'd strongly suggest you explain WHY you believe what you say. Otherwise, it's just another heaping helping of tiresome word salad without any persuasive weight
really?
Olympia Dukakis
Hillary Clinton
Kamala Harris
True, they weren't elected, but they ALL got more than respectable vote counts.
Politics is very much a question of good timing. I believe that in '32, AOC has a good shot, but not quite yet. If you're interested to hear why, read my latest post about AOC's viability at the top of the ticket :)
I LOVE AOC. She has a keen mind, she's articulate, and she communicates extremely well. However, I don't think she's quite ready for the presidency yet—she still has a few serious diplomatic and foreign policy edges to refine.
Do I think she's presidential material? Absolutely, without a doubt. She is a rising star on the progressive side. But timing is everything in national politics. Rushing her into the top of the ticket before her coalition-building and international gravitas are rock-solid is a huge risk.
If she gets thrown into that brutal arena too soon, opponent campaigns will relentlessly exploit every single gap, turning what should be a brilliant political trajectory into a high-stakes gamble we can't afford.
I want to see her build that experience, take key committee posts, and refine that diplomatic component over the next few years.
qI'm looking to her as our standard-bearer in '32. Not '28.
That's the theory, but no other president has had the DOJ in his right pocket, and a severely compromised SCOTUS in his other right pocket.
Even with the success we build from the midterms, we still have to endure two more years of this tantrum-driven toddler who would rather toss Putin a lifeline than extend the barest scrap of consideration to the constituents who elected him.
Yet, every time I hear these MAGA tools label me a communist diuchebag, I'm just gobsmacked. They're so deeply under the thrall of 'The Fool on the Hill' that they completely ignore high-level summits between Putin and Xi—two of the most identifiable dictators on the global stage today—while sitting on their circus stools, clapping madly for sardine treats.
The level of irony would be hilarious if it weren't so damn dangerous. But hey, keep performing for the ringmaster—just don't pretend you're fighting for "freedom" while doing tricks for a wannabe dictator.
bullshit!! We owe people like this a great deal of respect because he's come around, put it all together, and has come to the truth. He lives in a small town in Tennessee, and has possibly put his family in jeopardy. Unless those of you telling this guy to get fucked because he should have known better are EXACTLY like the hateful rhetoric we despise in the MAGA. base, we owe him and others like him our support, NOT further condemnation.
oh YES you should talk EXACTLY like this! I admire you're being thoughtful enough to connect the dots. I have NO USE for the hard core, triple trumpers. who have been used, abused and discarded. Friend, I have zero doubt that your MAGA brethren will call you a traitor. Hold your head high. YOU are a true Patriot. and I will GLADLY extend my hand, and stand beside you. Much respect!
@Damaan4u33 I do. was he flawless? Who is??? He brought something to the office that so few actually possess. He's a class act. He's personable enough that he was relatable to most, thinking people.
I've read enough of your posts to last me a lifetime, Dandy Jim. If you had two cogent thoughts to rub together, I might pay attention to you, but you don't.
You're just another in the long line of trained seals clapping your ass off for a broken down, cowardly, worthless, corrupt individual. And why? Because he hates the same people you do. That's why. There's your through line.
It's nothing to do with red versus blue or Democrat versus Republican. This has everything to do with right versus wrong and goodness over evil. You're on the wrong side, bud.
@DougWahl1 Like I give a flying fuck at a rolling donut. We have far more important fish to fry than worrying about Corey Lewandowski. I hope he and Kristi Noem will be really happy together.
Believe it or not, I admire your courage. You are NOT alone in your views, there are MANY like you. I understand better than most how difficult your situation is, but I have serious questions for you.
What are you going to DO about these feelings going forward? Are you going to maintain your newfound level of clarity, and vote against him to make sure that we have a chance of regaining our democracy, that he's done everything he can to destroy?
It sounds to me that you will, and if so, welcome back to reality. I extend my hand to you; I'll stand beside you any day.
