On July 2, the #HoldME team toured a 1-megawatt Bitcoin mining facility in Fort Worth, Texas — the first city in the U.S. to mine Bitcoin municipally. During the visit, we had the opportunity to meet with Giga, one of the largest mining infrastructure manufacturers in the world. Giga is responsible for producing the miners, coolers, skids, and racking systems that house and support miners at scale.

We also established a long-term relationship with ASIC to help ensure the right decisions are made as we scale up. Together, we discussed mining units for the startup phase, profitability models, and supporting technologies that will strengthen our foundation and long-term success.

This gave us a better understanding of the current and future scope of mining hardware, deployment strategies, and how these technologies can align with MINEiT and HoldME’s long-term partnership.

Additionally, we also host daily voice chats in our Telegram group. It’s a great space to ask questions, stay in the loop, and connect with the people behind the project.
