My father was a farmer in Middle Tennessee. One year my mom noticed chickens near a freshly sprayed field start dying after a crop duster passed. From that day forward, she became extremely mindful about what went into our food.

With glyphosate now back in the news, many people are just learning what it is. It’s a commonly used herbicide on crops like wheat, corn, and soy, and a recent executive order aims to strengthen U.S. production and supply rather than rely on foreign sources. That said, producing it domestically does not make glyphosate any less toxic.

If you’re purchasing ready-made bread, it was very likely made from flour sourced from crops treated with glyphosate. There are only a handful of brands that avoid this under organic standards. Our family chooses products like Wheat Montana and King Arthur Organic flour.

Are they more expensive? Yes. But we also try to be mindful about how much wheat we consume anyway since it’s higher in carbohydrates.

I’m in Gulfport. Several weeks ago two people shot and killed in their car after a shootout with a third person and one bystander was in critical condition. That happened in Gulfport. There was another shooting a couple weeks ago after two females got into a fight. Someone also in gpt jumped out of a vehicle off dedeaux and started shooting at people. They had to use a helicopter to locate him.

Let’s see… several shootings in Biloxi and a stabbing in ocean springs the past couple weeks.

Two people in Jackson and a toddler shot and killed last night suspect is still on the loose. Baby kohen killed by police officer in sanatobia.

Young person killed two elderly people a few weeks ago then the next week his two brothers shot a sheriff deputy. All three are in jail.
