I know people make fun of them, I sure did when this came out for the first time, but now I adore them. They were having a good time and put me in a good mood, not because the Padres have been losing but because they seem pretty wholesome. #RingTheBell
The Phillies complete the season sweep of the Padres
Itโs just the fourth season sweep in franchise history
They beat San Diego 6 times in 11 days
They are 23-7 against the Padres since โthatโs whatโs inโ happened
@kamikazecash I completely agree. It's really simple, and in many cases, it's a responsible thing to do to NOT have kids you can't/don't want to raise. It's important to know your limits.
@eawick2@RealTheoWold Same here. Some people want to take care of a permanently disabled child but not everyone, and I think that should be respected. It comes with a lot of responsibilities and demands - some people just cannot take them, financially, emotionally, etc.
I disgree with people shaming you for your decision. Some people can/want to deal with a child with DS but that doesn't mean everyone should. But also, if I were you, I wouldn't make a long, detailed post about it.
A lot of people make the decision you did. No one needs to defend or validate it.
