@iacas I’ve read through the thread on golfwrx you posted a bit on, but wanted to clarify a grip question. Everyone talks about not having a gap between thumb and forefinger on the trail hand. But should it be the same on the lead? Or is having a gap ok?
@iacas I only ask because I’m wondering if it’s causing a weak grip, when I grip it I’m only maybe seeing my first two knuckles. And I’m missing left (pull hooks). Worth experimenting?
@iacas random question. Do you have any GEARS data on a faders swing path throughout the bag? Like, if someone is out to in with driver, does it stay out to in down through their last full swing club?
Also, do they actually swing out to in? Or are they hitting push cuts?
@k_ones45@KylePorterNS For sure. I mean more that Europe cares about Team Europe. Everyone has a role and is ready to play that role. The US seems to pair based on star players then whoever is leftover gets paired together and they send it.
@KylePorterNS To be fair, I have only watched 2 RCs, but it seems it can be boiled down to just that Europe cares and the US doesn’t. Europe has buy in from the players. The US doesn’t.
@iacas I agree with that for sure. I think the myth that draws go farther also perpetuates it.
I haven’t seen data on this, but a post from Monte on the forums noted that he saw a lot of pros playing a push fade. Is there a possibility that’s better than having an out to in path?
@iacas lol I’ve been in the freelance/ client service industry, I know how frustrating and sometimes demoralizing it is to try and share knowledge 🥲 you fight the good fight!
@iacas For sure. Thank you for the clarification! I appreciate your time sharing your knowledge, you and Monte are always the first people I look for on GolfWRX threads! I just wish you were closer, I’d love to get on Gears just for the experience.
@iacas Would a better way of framing it be as soon as you fully transfer the pressure/weight to the lead foot? So recenter approaching top of BS, fully transfer to lead foot as hands/arms start down, then push off lead foot?
@iacas Do you not move pressure off the lead foot though? That’s why I put replant in quotes. I don’t lift the lead heel but I feel the unweighting. Unless I’m not understanding the concept, which is possible since I’m a 19 HCP lol
Masters Giveaway!
Nothing crazy, just a couple golf shirts and some hats from the ANGC pro shop.
(I know it’s super late but I’ve been busy 🤷🏻♂️)
Only 1 winner and I’ll be picking today.
I’ll throw in some of my stuff as well like the @Binary_Defense hat and @Titleist prov1X
@ryanmouquegolf Any difference if the ball is severely above feet? I have a few courses I play with large slopes, tend to hit it fat, I’m assuming grip down more and focus on getting left?
@b_dechambeau @realDonaldTrump I understand that you’ve probably donated already, but as a disabled vet, the money would be much better spent going towards the Semper Fi Fund, Yellow Ribbon Fund, or Gary Sinese Foundation. WWP isn’t known to be helpful. Appreciate the sentiment either way though
@spaceghost Wife and I also made the move from UT to CA. Best decision we made. Even if we don’t end up staying here, (unlikely) we are never going back to UT. And we take home a better percentage of pay here than in Utah.
