Sunday morning a convicted felon posed as a ride share driver and kidnapped a couple at gunpoint. He took the woman to his home where a rape may have taken place. He is already out of custody.

Many homeless people, some are mentally ill or drug addicted, and bad actors that support their habits. 2 violent rapes, car jackings, burglaries, etc. lately.

@rickcofer APD couldn't handle the crime in the city and has 280 or so vacant positions. People being put on hold with 911 and having to wait hours for an officer to show up is unacceptable, something had to be done. This is a good move by the mayor.
