@IrisShaders @MommyFootjobs If this is rtx remix, its using Ray reconstruction, disocclusion artifacts are minimal (based on other projects with remix and Minecraft)
It has to be MB, and i think the only way to truly tell is through actual footage in-game

But i doubt it is remix, it doesn't look like that

ALL of it was fixed in the csgo branch (except for the cubemaps, but that can be fixed, see black mesa)

Everyone can run l4d2, everyone can run csgo

They have a newer engine based on the csgo branch, go for better graphics then

Despite them being the minority they gotta ruin it on the rest of the 95% people with good hardware

Enabling or disabling CSM can be controlled through hammer yes
But the implementation itself is done through the engine

You cant enable csm if it isnt implemented in the engine

And im pretty sure they can just add settings to turn on and off graphical enhancements, a balance between two choices
