on X), standing at the start of something real. Yesterday I marked MM0 in Key West—my symbolic reset. Then last night I slipped. I put myself in a precarious environment I knew was risky for my situation (T2D, panic disorder, recovery path). No sugarcoating: it was a choice that led to compromise. Today I wake up with remorse—clear-headed, convicted, and done making room for that. This group exists because I need community to reconcile grief and fear and actually arrive at gratitude and love. I can’t do it alone. Neither can you. Here we build Discovery to Recovery together: Neuroscience — understanding how the brain wires habits, rewires after slips, and responds to accountability.
Positive Psychology — spotting and using character strengths (VIA: courage for owning the truth, perseverance for getting back up, gratitude for reframing pain).
Spiritual Formation — leaning into scripture, prayer, and peace with God (like Romans 5:1 peace—not perfection, but justification through faith).

Core Rule from Day 1: Reason and accountability. No more complacency. No more compromise. Slip-ups are data—we name them, learn from them, and move forward without excuses. This is a dialogue space. Not lectures. Not advice-dumping. Honest shares. Questions. Strengths in action. Wins and setbacks. Today’s prompt to kick us off:

🚨 TRUMP UNLOCKS THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ, SHIPS FIRE UP ENGINES AS STOCKS SOAR! OIL FLOWING AGAIN!

After over 100 days of war, President Trump just delivered a historic peace deal with Iran. The Commander-in-Chief is telling trapped ships in the Strait to start their engines. Global shipping resuming. Markets loving it.

Trump on Truth Social:

"This great deal will bring peace and security to the whole region. Many presidents have tried to make peace with Iran and all have failed before me. The leaders of the region have for the first time found a president who could help them achieve real peace."

Signing ceremony set for Friday in Geneva. Mine removal underway. Oil flowing on both ends for the region and the world.

Behind the scenes drama: Israel hit Hezbollah in Beirut, Iran threatened massive missile response. Qatari mediators worked overtime in Tehran with US coordination. VP Vance confirmed they were worried, but Trump personally jumped in to keep the deal alive. Iranians stood down.

Key realities on the ground:

- Deep divisions inside Iran: Moderates vs. IRGC hardliners pushing back
- Iran did NOT get what they demanded, US forces are STAYING in the region (Bahrain, Qatar, etc.)
- No sanctions relief until they comply
- Strait of Hormuz stays open for free international shipping
- Detailed work to deal with the buried highly enriched uranium "nuclear dust"

This is Trump foreign policy: Strength first. Break their capabilities, then force them to the table. No more weak Obama-era handouts.
