Researched showed that prior to the polarization of party favoring Dems. these cities had a mix of Republican or democrat mayors. Then suddenly starting in the 60’s cities went dem. But clearly this refutes any suggestion that bad crime cities are run by republicans. In fact crime favors democrats overwhelmingly.
