Ibex Cross Country Cup : Celebrating Endurance and Esprit de Corps 🏃‍♂️🏔️

On 25 Jul 2026, the Ibex Cross Country Cup, conducted under the aegis of the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, witnessed remarkable enthusiasm and an outstanding display of endurance, determination and sportsmanship by participating Ladakh Scouts units.

Cheered on by fellow soldiers, Agniveers, Ex-Servicemen and local residents, the runners displayed exceptional grit across the demanding course. 2 Ladakh Scouts emerged as the champions, reflecting the high standards of physical fitness and competitive spirit that define the Regiment.

Heartiest congratulations to the winning teams and all participants for their exemplary performance.

‘𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐲𝐚’, the grand cultural evening organised as a tribute to the valiant bravehearts of the #IndianArmy, was held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, as part of the Southern Command Investiture Ceremony 2026.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel. Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, #SouthernCommand, Air Marshal Tejinder Singh,PVSM, AVSM,VM, AOC-in-C, South Western Air Command, along with other senior dignitaries attended the ceremony.

The event highlighted the synergy of Diplomacy, Economy, Defence & Technology driving Bharat’s progress and global standing. Mesmerising performances blended History, Culture, Martial Arts and a Drone Show, paying tribute to the courage, sacrifice and dedication of the citizens strengthening the nation.

‘Shaurya Sandhya’ embodied the spirit of courage, resilience and national pride, in alignment with the national vision of #ViksitBharat. It showcased the Armed Forces’ glorious traditions, valour and indomitable spirit, reaffirming the #IndianArmy’s commitment to duty, honour and the welfare of the nation.

#JointTraining included practicing drills for Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue #CSSR; Chemical, Biological, Radiological & Nuclear #CBRN response; flood-relief & first-responder skills. Participants also visited SEOC & witnessed #FloodRelief demonstration by NDRF on the #SabarmatiRiver at #Ahmedabad.

The initiative highlighted commitment of #KonarkCorps towards evolving 'Integrated Disaster Management Mechanism' in consonance to ethos of #IndianArmy of #NationFirst.
