@CoHSATOxon@BBCOxford Very true. I would have mentioned the people who are in denial about the damage that cars do to people through crashes and pollution as the biggest problem.
I live near Cowley Road, so I've seen it all: crashes, smelly jams, noisy cars, drink/drug driving...
@TheOxfordMail The headline deceives. It's more Oxford Mail bullshit because low speed roads in Wales are safer, but the rise is in the high speed roads because of more traffic.
@TheOxfordMail To my knowledge, Oxford Mail has this wrong.
The current station can cope with EWR initial trains to Milton Keynes, but needs to expand for growth beyond that.
@TheOxfordMail Will the Oxford Mail now print my story about how I drove into Oxford, obeyed all of the signs, went to the shops, and didn't get fined.
@TheFSGModel@Plaistovian Now that really is a silly exaggeration that helps no one.
And I haven't even looked to see which 'side' you were on. Because you were obviously taking a side rather than working the problem.
@VincentStops@JustineBrian@Plaistovian You can tell when someone has no good facts to argue with when they use heavily pejorative words like 'cult' to describe a mode of transport that has existed for over 200 years
@BBCOxford These few have been determined to fail and telling their customers that they are hard to reach.
Meanwhile, professional retailers have been coining it because everyone can reach their shops much easier by bus, P&R, walking, cycling, or 100 free passes.

@JCUK1981@JordanEVGuy@andyburnham Excellent. I will be happy to enter this bet for ยฃ100,000 at evens with a mutually appointed independent solicitor to hold both our funds as security, and to appoint an independent auditor to review the fire data.
