To those who follow me, I'm unlikely to post any more on Twitter. I've moved my attention to BlueSky ([email protected]), whilst hedging my bets on Mastodon ([email protected]). I'm not going to delete my account or flounce off in some other way; I'm just going silent.
@StigAbell What we saw was not what the writers wrote.
They scripted a much more explosive recreation of trench warfare.
They filmed one take. The actors then refused a second, because the setup was downright dangerous.
The producers cobbled together a quieter end - the one we saw.
@DoggyMint@GeorgeMonbiot His first term corrupted the Supreme Court & mismanaged the COVID pandemic (thousands of unnecessary deaths) & left an economic mess for Biden to fix.
If you think that's 'fine', God help us.
@muhammadshehad2 Of course, I wasn't there to see for myself (like most of the 'journalists' reprinting Israeli press releases), but this looks to me like a bunch of soccer hooligans who bit off more than they could chew. Doesn't justify an international incident.
@Tracy20178@NHSMillion "everything out there"
Really? You're not seeing Mail/Express/Telegraph/Sun/socials lumping legal migrants, refugees & students into the one, big, number? If any one of them does something bad, it's their identity as 'migrant' that gets trumpeted.
