The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them.

While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7.

Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for.

Si jamais le gouvernement va de l’avant avec cette idée d’augmenter les frais aux conducteurs pour éponger le déficit de SAAQclic, ce sera tout simplement un des plus gros scandales de l’histoire du Québec.

On parle ici d’une institution publique qui a dilapidé des milliards de dollars dans un système numérique bâclé, mal planifié et mal exécuté, et qui maintenant aurait l’audace de demander aux citoyens de sortir encore une fois leur portefeuille pour payer l’incompétence de leurs dirigeants.

C’est une vraie honte nationale.

Zéro responsabilité, zéro imputabilité

Plutôt que de punir ceux qui sont responsables, on choisit la voie la plus lâche : refiler la facture à des millions de Québécois qui n’ont rien demandé.
Tous les salaires à la SAAQ devraient être gelés pendant des années. Aucun bonus ne devrait être versé à personne, peu importe le poste.
Tous ceux, sans exception, qui étaient au courant de ce dossier, qui ont vu le désastre s’en venir et qui ont fermé les yeux, devraient perdre leur emploi immédiatement, que ce soit à la SAAQ ou au gouvernement.

Les Québécois sont déjà écrasés par le coût de la vie, les taxes, les tarifs qui explosent. Leur imposer une nouvelle hausse injuste, simplement pour masquer une incompétence flagrante, c’est leur dire :

« Vous n’êtes rien de plus que des vaches à lait. »

La honte SAAQclic n’est pas seulement un échec technologique. C’est le symbole parfait d’un système public en déroute, où l’on protège les décideurs incompétents et où l’on punit les citoyens innocents. #quebec
