We're excited to announce that The Institute for Nursing @RWJBarnabas and its Simulation Center, located at The Eisenhower in Livingston, have received provisional accreditation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare™! This accreditation is internationally recognized as the gold standard for simulation programs, showing a commitment to excellence by providing high-quality simulation experiences that lead to better patient outcomes.
The accreditation was received at the Society for Simulation’s President’s Diamond Ball, the 2025 International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare recently held in Orlando. Pictured here are Kevin Kurzweil, director of Simulation, and Evan Holtz, program manager, The Center for Professional Development, Innovation and Research, The Institute for Nursing Excellence, who accepted on behalf of our health system at the event.
The program will qualify to apply for full accreditation in 2026.
