@irelandofjonny@AnthonyAshton1 With the worldwide viewership we have now it would help improve all cup competitions. It’s terrible how they’ve devalued the FA Cup.
@AnthonyAshton1 Definitely but it was an official UEFA tournament, although like the unofficial Fairs Cup the selection process was suspect. We all know it goes European/Champs League, UEFA/Europa, and Cup Winners Cup as the top 3. They should lose the Conference and bring the CWC back.
@batcountry1980 I agree Dylan and The Beatles were the forefathers of the album in rock/pop, and I’d also mention the American mid/late 60’s bands like the Velvets, Doors etc who debuted with classic albums, really grasping the concept of a cohesive artistic statement from the start.
@SalvadorDafti@TheRealJamieKay I know loads of very generous people from down here, but in the main I definitely agree. I’ve often wondered where that stereotype came from based on my experiences.
@aftertheflood_@Evanryt@batcountry1980@dasrobot@closfeliciano I think they forget the album they are scoring sometimes and inadvertently score their own writing. I’ve never read a Pitchfork review which hasn’t come across as a pretentious personal essay.
@Evanryt@dasrobot@closfeliciano@batcountry1980 So whether AI written (to please you), or not (ie. older posts like the Big Beatles Blether etc), his account gets more engagement than yours and you don’t like that? Just trying to understand why you would quote tweet like that.
@Evanryt@dasrobot@closfeliciano@batcountry1980 Are you just being salty because you believe yourself to be an established music journalist, but it seems fewer people read or engage with your posts compared to an independent music loving X account?
@SpursOfficial@1ohreally Actions will speak louder than words, and as long as you, Vinai Venkatesham, and Johan Lange are at the Club we have no faith in anything said here.
