@spencermorgan93 Wrong. It’s a 32 team world cup which mean the group stage will be a bore fest and it won’t get going until the knockout stage. Time difference means it will grip the nation like previous tournaments.
@roberts_katz Houllier, Rafa and Klopp all had big club experience and were used to the pressure of challenging for trophies at a big club. The demands. The scrutiny. Xabi has this. Adoni doesn’t. Will be learning on the job. Major concern.
@RatherbeRed6@JebKenny@willylfc Negotiate a bit better 😅 Both players were never signing new deals. Trent learned Spanish for years. Oh to be so simple.
@PrimeKlopp@AnfieldEdition ‘Let him’ 😅 You can’t sell a player who is happy to run his contract down. You can’t force a club to buy a player when they’re happy to do the same.
@shornKOOMINS Totally agree. I just feel Xabi ticks a lot more boxes and don’t trust Edwards and Hughes to have made their choice due to ego and control rather than the best man.
@spencermorgan93 Weird take. Competitions such as Europa/Conference and FA Cup, League Cup can be major trophies but not as big as others. Doesn’t have to be either or. Plenty or space and clubs for all of them.
@mokofil@roberts_katz I think they’ve been talking to Iraola for at least a week but only told Slot on Saturday morning so have to play the game, ‘official talks started’ etc.
@paulmichaelmorg what is the point? There are too many teams in the world cup (better to have 32 or even 64 for the former to at least work better) and the CL is bloated. Both can be true.
