For a brief period at the start of 1968, Pink Floyd were a five piece band, with David Gilmour now on board, playing alongside Syd Barrett for a total of four gigs. On this day, the first of those shows took place, at the University of Aston in Birmingham. During January, the band rehearsed at London's Kensal Rise Primary School, and a photo session captured the five together. Here's one of the shots:
