CEOs are quietly realizing the AI replacement plan has a problem.
Two problems, actually.
One: the token costs for running AI agents are now exceeding what they were paying the employees they fired.
Two: when the tokens run out, the AI stops. Just stops. No continuity. No workaround. Just a spinning wheel where your workforce used to be.
You fired humans to save money and bought a subscription that bills you into a corner.
The employees you let go knew what to do when things broke.
The AI just invoices you for the outage.
And then there’s the permission problem nobody wants to talk about.
To do its job, the AI agent needs access. Full access. Your systems, your patents, your contracts, your future plans. Everything you spent years building, handed over to a process that has no loyalty, no discretion, and no skin in the game.
You didn’t hire a replacement.
You gave a stranger with no soul the keys to everything you own.
Enjoy.
Microsoft's obsession with Crow-barring Copilot into every aspect of Windows 11 is so annoying.
Why would anyone need Copilot integrated into Paint, or Notepad?!?!
Win11 is already a dumpster fire as it is. This makes it worse.
God help us if the Win12 rumours of AI are true.
People who book an open-ended, recurring meeting sequence and then, instead of end-dating it when no longer needed just cancel the series: you are the worst.
It really wrecks my calendar for if I need to look back for a specific meeting for information.
I don't want a city on Mars.
I don't want AI in every app.
I don't want data centres in space.
I want clean water.
I want a stable climate.
I want bees to survive.
Knowledge Management: this has always bugged me.
It can be, and should be, a Godsend.
It helps Service Desk up skill their operators.
It helps users self-serve.
But you've got to want to do it - both from a creation and consumption point of view.

Users, sometimes, perceive that having Service Desk do something, or give them the answer, is easier for them. When, in the end, being able to do it without relying on someone else to be involved should be quicker....
