@MeghanMcCain I don't know if Republicans fully realize how damaging the image of assuming that because a woman doesn't want to do something she is incapable of it is.
@osgamer74 It's succinct and straightforward, all the text seems to say just what it needs to without offending many people (present company excepted, I suppose). The complexity ratings have a couple head-scratchers, though: Wizard and Cleric are Average but Sorcerer and Bard are High?
@Argceus@redwyrmofficial Dude, this is the PHB art. The book that shows you what PCs look like, primarily. There are still evil orcs to fight, but their art will be in the MM.
@WhittersRichard Which is, of course, ridiculous! It's a great piece of art that communicates a theme and a moment of tension. We just live and consume art in such a different environment now.
@WhittersRichard If this were made today people would complain that she has a magic arrow already strung when she's clearly been taken by surprise, that she doesn't have a pack to survive any length of wilderness travel, and that the monster is choosing to not use its ax properly for some reason.
@Nonat1s Something always changes on a failure. Maybe whatever's on the other side of the door is aware of you, maybe a patrol rounds the corner just as you unlock the door, maybe you jam your lockpick inside and have to make another check to retrieve it without damaging it.
@A_DungeonDelver In poker, the dealer doesn't choose how many cards to deal. In chess, no player decides how many pieces are on the board. Referees cannot be adversarial. If the only constraint on one side is their own notion of fair play, then victory or defeat are equally arbitrary.
@tylerrittenhou1@SpicyEncounters I think they mean conceptually, you can think of 5e as a 3-action economy, not that it literally is a 3-action economy as written.
@SpicyEncounters@YumAussir No, it's not part of another action, it just occurs "during" your move or your action. Just like your Attack action can occur in the middle of your movement, your free object interaction can occur during your move or your action (but not bonus action).
@mattcolville Maybe I'll just buy a couple tickets and then not go. Because going to the movies is such an event, but Furiosa sounds great and I want it to succeed...
@VoicesByZane I'm pretty sure these new emotions are there during puberty as a chaotic growing up deal and then get reintegrated into their base emotions in adulthood. Hence both Riley's mom and dad still have the same 5 emotions as Riley in the first film, though they appear different.
@sweeting_jaysen@WalshFreedom Conceding is something you positively do, in words. If Trump didn't acknowledge Biden's victory somehow, the fact that everyone else did does not mean *he* conceded.
@Aczar1Alan@LisbethMA@cmclymer And if the GOP calls for another commission to investigate the first commission? Should we endlessly indulge every bad faith questioning of the election by people who are using the questioning of the election as a political weapon? How many "no"s before it's on them to move on?
